One more attempt...

Well now that I have a computer once again we can try this blogging thing one more time. Many changes here at Doubletree with the greatest change being the addition of a bouncing baby boy way back in January, we call him Henry! He really is just so precious and is teaching us that you can only squeeze some many things into a day, babies take a ton of time.
I also got 6 chickens and we built a cute Pullet Chalet. Henry and I enjoy spending time just sitting and watching the girls run about, who knew chickens had such great personalities? I just thought they were birds and I wanted to raise fresh eggs for breakfast!
I have also decided in this blog that I will share various tidbits that a country chick stuck in the city may find interesting from recipes to critters and one can only guess what else might show up. I have been following some great folks and will share them with you at another time. First things first, I must learn to navigate around this computer and around Windows 7, a huge difference as to how web pages show up as compared to my smart phone, yes it has been awhile since I have used a computer, expect a few typos! And I also need to spend some time updating our website, it is way behind and also has a few broken links and missing pictures! Not good.
